Sony PlayStation (abbreviated PS, PSone, PS1 and PSX) – 32-bit game console of the fifth generation, developed by the Sony Computer Entertainment Company, under the leadership of Ken Kutaragi and released in December 1994. Given that by the end of 1996 a collection of games for the PSX numbered nearly 200 units.
